Bastard counters: 日

Counters. I hate them. Everybody hates them. A language that needs specific counters for small animals (no larger than a dog!), is surely proof that the Japanese are having a laugh at us all...

Mate,

If you thought the notes Kazu-sensei gave us were bad, take a look at

http://www.trussel.com/jcount.htm

Pissed myself laughing until I realised it's not a joke....

the easy way to count things-you
can use for almost all of objects.

十(じゅうorとう,とうis less common,
used by pops)

I'll tell you counting ways in Kenji English. This is much beter
and more reasonable than your way
of counting.

a funiture (do not use piece of!)
a bred (no slice of!)
a jeans(a pair,two pairs of... too strange!!)
a glass (strange too!)
a shoes(also strange!)
a pants(too strange!)
