Bit of a mix tonight. Firstly, we have a new verb that I learnt in class tonight...着く
つく To arrive
...and now for another verb, a personal favourite (I think I already knew this one!)
酔っぱらう
よ：っぱらう To be drunken

"酔っ払う" sounds a bit oldfashioned,and "酔う（よう）"is
much more common nowadays.
ex)
Matt got drunk on vodka.
マットは、ウォッカで酔った。
However,"酔っ払い（よっぱらい）-a drunken person" is still used.
酒は飲んでも、飲まれるな！
